DESCRIPTION:From Friday\, December 5th through Saturday\, December 6th\, the Vidor Chamber of Commerce will once again host our Passport to Vidor event to help support our local businesses this holiday season!This fun community event takes place during Hometown Holidays weekend\, giving us the perfect opportunity to showcase our amazing local shops and services. It's your chance to bring customers through your doors\, share your holiday spirit\, and remind everyone to shop local this Christmas.To participate\, please contact Rebecca at the Vidor Chamber of Commerce at 409-681-6223.Participation fees are $20 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members. We'll also need each business to provide their hours of operation for December 5th 6th\, along with their business address\, so we can include it on the official Passport flyer.How does it work?Passports can be picked up starting Thursday\, December 4th\, but they cannot be stamped until Friday\, December 5th\, Passports will not be available for pickup on Friday\, December 5th. Completed passports must be turned in by Saturday\, December 6th at 5:00 PM.We encourage participating businesses to offer small treats\, giveaways\, or special promotions during the event it's a great way to draw in visitors and spread holiday cheer! Each completed passport gets them into a drawing of their choosing. We are encouraging Facebook check-ins to your business \, if they check in and show proof\, their name will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card!If you don't have a brick-and-mortar location\, no problem! Reach out to Rebecca\, and we'll assign you a location so you can still take part.The participation deadline is November 26th\, so we can get everything printed and start promoting your business early.Please let us know if you have any questions we can't wait to celebrate another successful Passport to Vidor with you!
